Problem blocking AP

hello

I have a block unknown source is found, occasionally, a few access points This block requires us to reset the AP via the remote controller. I have the following messages displayed at our WLC.

Invalid addr orphan : ipv6_net.c:765 Invalid ipv6 address ::, failed to do data gleaning

can you help me

Disable IPv6 and check it again:

config ipv6 disable

Hi,

It is due to the IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 and check logs, This error would be disappear from WLC.

You need to disable IPv6 with command config ipv6 disable.

Workaround : 
The message shows that the WLC　is receiving IPv6 packets having source address of
::(Unspecified Address).

There are some workarounds:
 - Disconnect the client.
 - Disable IPv6 on the client.
 - Change logging level to critical on the WLC.
 - Disable IPv6 on WLC by "config ipv6 disable" command.

Solution : 
CSCug51714 is raised to remove the message.
Upgrading 007.006(100.000) is a solution.
