Protocol Pack Issue on HA SSO WLC 8.0

Hi,

I have 2 units WLC 8510 which running on code 8.0.132.105 and they running on HA SSO setup. Before, the protocol pack for AVC was version 9.0 with engine version 16. On primary WLC, I tried to update the protocol pack to version 11 but failed. The primary WLC always shows protocol pack version 9. Then I switch-over to Secondary WLC and I tried to update the protocol pack to version 11. It was success. On the secondary WLC, the protocol pack uses version 11 with engine version 16. So, currently the WLC running on different protocol pack version.

What should I do and how to overcome this issue?

The controllers are running an Engineering Release firmware.  I'd recommend upgrading the firmware to something more recent and see if it improves things.

Hi Leo,

Yes, it is the Engineering release firmware which I got from Cisco TAC. It's because the WLC hit issue with crash. 

Maybe I will try to upgrade to version 8.0.133.0.
