Hi All
This is my first post. Two weeks back, we upgraded wism 1 controller with wism 2 on 6509. Users who access wifi through guest ssid are complaining that they have to provide username and password each time they connect to wifi. Users had registered their devices mac address before upgrade but now transparent login is not working for registered users. Can anyone please advise?

Can you explain more in detail? We're you using Mac filter bypass for the WebAuth. Were these users not suppose to login?

Hi Scott
Today I came to know that mac filtering was enabled on previous controller. Currenlty its disabled on new controller. These users had registered their devices mac addr. They had to provide username & passwd but only first time while connecting to guest wlan..

Well did you get that working. There is no automatic way to capture the Mac. That has to be manually entered.

We enabled Webauthentication on mac filter failure on new wlc and it solved the issue. Wlc uses radius and ACS for mac database.
