very strange, i have mutliple vlans defined on my access-ponts, when i use a laptop and roam, i get the same ip address when i disassociate and them reassociate with another access-point, shouldn't i be getting a new one???
This is the normal behavior. When multiple APs are deployed and a certain set of clients to roam between all of these APs, they should be set to use the same SSID and the same VLAN. If they are put on different VLANs,clients will have problems getting new IP addresses or may have disconnects when they get a new IP address.
