SSID broadcast

Configure multiple WLANs using 4400 WLC. All WLANs ssid broadcast are disabled. The guest WLAN does not have secuirty enable. It appears the SSID for the guest access is still broadcast. Any suggestion? Thanks.

If you do not have the check box enabled for broadcast, then it will not broadcast. Maybe make sure you apply it again and on your wireless client, make sure the profile is not saved, or else it will show up like it is broadcasted.

For ease of guest deployment, you should broadcast the ssid... just my opinoin!

Check the WLC configuration and noticed the broadcast ssid is not disabled. I did the config change using WCS. It looks like the WCS did not propagate the change to the WLCs even I did the save and reboot. Thanks.
