Experts,
I have created a "Lobby Admin" user and with that user I can connect to the WLC via https. However, the SSH access to WLC with same user is not working. Anything that I have to enable to get it work?
Thanks,
S

Here is a doc that explains lobby admin. This should help.
Let me know if this clears it up.
Background Information
A lobby administrator, also known as a lobby ambassador of a WLC, can create and manage guest user accounts on the Wireless LAN Controller (WLC). The lobby ambassador has limited configuration privileges and can access only the web pages used to manage the guest accounts. The lobby ambassador can specify the amount of time that the guest user accounts remain active. After the specified time elapses, the guest user accounts expire automatically.

Lobby admin is only for http/https not telnet or ssh.

Thank You. Is there a document that I can refer?

If you look for the lobby admin doc, it explains that you only can add guest users via the GUI. If you want to telnet of ssh, you need to configure a local admin account.

Thank You Scott. Yes, it says that lobby admin can only create/manage guest user accounts.
When I login via https with lobby admin I could only see the new account tabs.
Thanks for the clarification!
Thank You,
S

Yeah... You really don't want lobby admins to access the CLI:)
