Our current controller is 4.2.128 and I want to upgrade to 6.0. The problem is, in the releae notes it states this.
Note Any release posted after 5.2.130.0 will not be eligible for upgrade to release 6.0.132.0.
How can you upgrade to 6.0 if the earlier versions are not eligible for upgrade. I was not able to find any support for this in the release notes. Sure there were directions on going to 5.2, but nothing else. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

according to the release notes of 6.0.202.0

you can go directly from 4.2.128.0 up to 6.0.202.0 directly.

Bret,
are you upgrdaing your WCS or WLC ?

Just WCS. Our controllers have older AP's that do not support the new code, so they are all running 4.2.207. The WCS release needs to be the same or newer than the controller code. I believe.

Yes, you are correct. WCS should be at or above your WLC code.

I need to read more release notes. I swear I read about 4 other versions of the release notes and none of them outline the upgrade as detailed as your link. My link shows were I was getting confused.
