WAP Unable to join WLC

I'm having difficulty getting my WAP to join my controller. Please see error message below. Hoping someone could provide me with some help.

Console into the 1540 and post the complete output to the command "sh capwap client rcb".

  - If not yet done on the controller : you need to activate the license and accept the EULA.
    go to Management > Software Activation > Licenses and accept EULA

    For the controller go to https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286312601/type/280926587/release/8.10.196.0
    and try again ; older aireos controller must these days use the last release available ,

Console into the AP and enter the following command: 

capwap ap mode local

After entering the above command, the AP will reboot.  This is a normal behaviour.
