When dial-up thru modem with 342 wireless installed , system locks up

We have a Cisco 342 wireless nics installed on some new systems. Each system has a modem hooked up to it. Windows 2000 pro is loaded. When the modems begin to dial, the system locks up. If I take out the wireless nics, the modem and system work fine and I am able to dial out and connect to the internet. I am hoping somebody will be able to tell me what I can do to fix it. It looks like a hardware conflict. Can you remove the modem, setup the Aironet card and then install the modem again? The modem should then see that the resources are being used by the 342 and move to another I/O or IRQ.
