Wifi works 50% slower when traffic passes WLC

Hello, team,

I have WLC 8.5 with Flexconnect topology. My download/upload speed is about 30Mbit/s. When I turn on Flexconnect Local switching (when wireless traffice goes directrly to gateway without reaching the WLC) I get 60Mbit. WTF???

All my wires are 1Gbit and ESXi is a very powerful machine!

What most likely could be the problem?

 The speed you inform is the internet speed or wireless speed?

 If internet, do you have two internet link right?

It's internet speed. I have single ISP.
