I have a number of AP1200s that are sending accounting data to a RADIUS.
I have two issues.
The first is the username and/or hostname of the client connected to the AP is not being passed to the RADIUS, the "User-Name" field has the client's MAC address instead. Is there any way to change this?
Second, the BVI interface, which is what's being included in the RADIUS packet as the NAS-IP-Address, is on a private non-routable network. Because of this, the RADIUS cannot send a confirmation packet back to the AP after receiving an accounting record. The AP will re-send the packet a number of times, and the RADIUS will log these as new records, since the Timestamp field is different. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
