Hi Everyone,
I need help in one of the issue. there is issue on going with particular access point. clients are not able to connect to it and connect to other 2 LWAP's that are 6-7 meter away. Even on standing close to that access point, no one is able to connect. After rebooting the access point, client is able to connect to particular access point but no able to surf internet and other services. after few minutes it got disconnected and get connected back to other 2 access points. There is no interference at that area that causing the issue. AP is running on flex connect and vlan mapping is also fine. Please guide me what deep troubleshooting i can do to investigate this. The access points model is AIR-CAP3702I-H-K9.
Regards

- What frequency are they connecting on, 2.4 or 5?
- Have you tried turning off the other 2 APs and seeing if clients work fine when connected to your 'faulty' AP?
- From your notes they don't get Internet etc when connected indicating a config issue.. can the clients ping their gateway once connected to the AP?
- What version of code are you running on the WLC?
- Is the switchport that the AP is connected to configured as Trunk etc like the others?
- Please submit the output from the WLC of two APs, one that is working and one that isn't - show ap config general <ap name>
Ta,
Ric
