Hi,
Anyone know what is the throughput of a 5508 Controller? As it supports Ether-channel and a 8 gig Ether-channel can be configured, therefore it means, the controller has the capacity to foward 8 Gig of traffic. Wondering if anyone has any references?
Regards,
Rehan

Hi Rehan,
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10315/product_at_a_glance_list.html
Download Cisco Wireless Controllers. It has a side by side stat of each model.
You are correct, 8 gig.
The WISM2 for example, has a 20 gig backplane.
