WLC 5520 WLAN User Idle Timeout

I would like to get some clarification regarding the user idle timeout WLAN configuration checkbox.  I read on here that if you don't configure a idle time-out value within the WLAN the global system parameter will be used instead (which is 300 seconds by default).  Is this in fact true, meaning that if I leave the box unchecked, the default user idle timeout for that wlan will be set to 300?  Can someone please confirm this. Thanks.

Hi

Yes if no wlan specific idle timeout is configured then the global parameter is applied.
This setting is changed under configuration and then general menu.

By default this value is setup to 300 seconds to avoid any over utilization of ram.

Thanks
Francesco
