WLC Config analyzer not running

Got the latest config analyzer installed the other day and it ran fine. Went back to it sometime later and the application will not run now and the start menu icon is gone. Try and run it I get  a window - Starting application - then timeouts and get Appliacation cannot be started, Contact the application vendor.

I can now no longer uninstall from add/remove programs. If i got to run the setup.exe again I get the same error - application cannot be started.

Cant find where the install folder is to cleanup.

Any suggestions would be greatley appreciated. Use config analyzer all the time.

Hey,

This is more probably a windows issue. I got such problem and the IT guy in the company fixed it for me.

Do you have dot Net framework 3.5 installed in your PC? If yes, try to repair it or remove then install it again. Dot Net Framework 3.5 is needed to get WLC config analyzer running.

Also, if you have problem with current user try creating a new fresh user profile in your PC and try running config analyzer from that new user and check if it works.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up emailing the support address and Javier was kind enough to help me out. He pointed me to the location of the .net internal databases. I deleted some files and bam started right back up.

Javier is actually the guy that invented that piece of software. he is not only a support guy.
