Queues per Access port

When using QOS offload on the satellite, do we have 8 queues total to use on all the Satellite Access ports? Or do we have 8 Different Queues per Satellite access port?

Hi Ken,

primary purpose of the Satellite QoS offload is to protect the important traffic sent from the satellite to the host over ICL. Hence the queuing in Satellite QoS Offload scenario is supported only on the ICL interface. This is the egress direction (looking from the satellite perspective). The 8 queues that you were referring to exist only on the ICL interface.

It's 8 queues per Satellite.

Q7 - SDAC Discovery, CFM: COS7

Q6 - SDAC Control + Customer control protocols

Q5/Q6 - User Data PQs (P1 and P2)

The other 4 are normal queues.
