WebEx Participant using Microsoft Edge Browser missing floating menu

We just started using WebEx on some new Microsoft Surface Pro 7 tablets.  Our users join WebEx meetings using the Microsoft Edge browser.  When we use the Edge browser the floating menu that lets you change the participant view does not appear.  We want to let our users switch to grid view so they see all of the participants at once but without the floating menu there isn't a way to do that.

How do I either get the floating menu to appear or switch to grid view without that menu?

The attached image shows the menu I am referring to.

Are you saying the meeting attendees are joining the meeting in the Edge browser rather than the desktop application? If they are using the desktop app, what version are they using?

Yes, they were joining in the Edge browser. The desktop app was working
properly. I have been informed that the functionality doesn't exist when
joining by a browser.
