APIC Cluster with differents hardware versions

Hi experts, is there any document to feel like confident about

having a production cluster with L2 and M3 cluster going on, this of migration from new hardware? there is some recommendation about it?

No issues mixing models of APICs.  Just note they will operate at the lowest common denominator (scale).
