BD stretched ARP/BUM Flooding settings for vMotion?

I'm trying to optimize my settings for two sites stretched by NDO. Looking at the CiscoU advanced ACI course shows both scenarios are appropriate for vSphere live migrations. What settings should I really use for live migrations between stretched sites?

L2 Connectivity Across Sites Without Flooding of L2 BUM frames used for: Live vMotion

L2 Connectivity Across Sites with Flooding of L2 BUM frames used for: Live VM Migration

You can see the Cisco U data above is very vague and look the same. I think the term Live VM Migration is just a generic non vendor term for vSphere vMotion which does the same thing. What settings should I impliment for live vMotions to other stretched sites (between the same stretched Bridge Domain and subnet but in the other site).

Thanks again

Hi @KVS7 ,

Right, "Live VM Migration" is not very clear. Intersite BUM Flooding should be used for particular cases. It's usually not what you aim for when deploying Multi-site design.

BD without BUM Flooding is preferred and also supports vMotion.
