Not sure how many people actually utilize the ACI Endpoint Update App. I have the v2.6 of the App installed on my APIC (v5.2(4f)) and trying to setup it to work with Cisco FMC (v7.2.5).
When I click submit on the adding device page of the ACI Endpoint Update App within APIC, I got a simple error "Failed to submit data!". Screenshot below. The username used in screenshot is a FMC admin account dedicated for this integration between APIC and FMC. Can not find any useful information within Faults or online search...Hope someone could point me to the correct direction regarding this issue.

The fix I found is to delete the ACI Endpoint update app from APIC and reinstall it...
