Cisco ACI /32 static route

Our DNS team is asking us to add a static route for their Infoblox deployment

i.e

BD = 192.168.1.1/24

Appliance = 192.168.1.10

HA Loopback = 192.168.1.11

They cannot turn on Proxy ARP on their Infoblox appliance and are asking for the following static route:

192.168.1.11/32 next-hop 192.168.1.10

Should I just do this under the EPG or under the L3Out nodes?

Hi @brian.holmes

Since your HA Loopback IP is part of the BD subnet, you can't add it as a static route in a L3Out.

However, you can add it as a /32 route under the EPG and mark it as EP Reachability:

Static routes are added on L3out on the leaf node profiles.

You can check current routing before adding it and after adding it on cli to confirm if there was a change made.

Can you please explain to me the reason for having an HA loopback. What is the use of it?.
