HELLO,
i have cisco aci fabric with many pords, one of my pods are made by 2 x Cisco Nexus 9332C spines connecting 16 leaves with 4 uplinks for each leafs.
I already used all the ports of the spines and i want to replace the 32 ports Cisco Nexus 9332C spines by Cisco Nexus 9504 spines that i already buy .
How can i proceed withint impacting the production and the traffic in the fabric ?
thers is any restriction about upgrading the spine hardware if ports are also changed ? and if yes then how can I retrieve the policies to new ports and take backup of the policies on the ports or check.
Thank you in advance for your help .

Hello @ashishkumar01896
Upgrading the spine hardware in a Cisco ACI fabric is a critical task that requires careful planning to avoid impacting production traffic.
In Cisco ACI, spines cannot be directly replaced without impacting the fabric. However, you can add the new spines to the fabric, migrate traffic, and then decommission the old spines.

@AshSe why not use the standard procedure to replace spine/leaf documented by Cisco? Configure Leaf or Spine Replacement in ACI - Cisco . obviously L3Outs/IPN interface number would have to be changed to the new one if the same interface number couldn't be used while re-cabling.

@YanL I echo the same. Thanks for sharing the document link.
