Greetings!
I have happened upon a questionable difference between NX-OS and the ACI OS on the Nexus 93180YC-EX switch.
Under NX-OS, it is possible to plug in a GLC-T transceiver and set the port speed to 100Mbps. When attempting to apply an equivalent policy in ACI (whether autonegotiated or fixed speed), fault code F2740 (invalid-port-speed-configured) is raised.
What's the issue?
Thanks in advance!

The Cisco Nexus 93180YC-EX Switch has 48 1/10/25G-Gbps Small Form Pluggable Plus (SFP+) ports and 6 40/100-Gbps Quad SFP+ (QSFP+) uplink ports. All ports are line rate, delivering 3.6 Tbps of throughput in a 1-rack-unit (1RU) form factor.

Correct, the datasheet does not mention 100Mbps in connection with the YC-EX (only the TC-EX), but the switch itself seems to allow throttling a port with a GLC-T to 100Mbps -- as long as it's running the standard NX-OS and not the ACI OS. I'd like to know the reason behind this difference in behavior.

Hi,
We also have exactly same problem. What is the difference between NX-OS and ACI mode for 100 mbit connection.
Kind Regards.
