Hello all,

Mod MAC addresses Hw Fw Sw Status

uptime is 2 years, 14 weeks, 1 day, 10 hours, 57 minutes

Time since switched to active is 2 years, 14 weeks, 1 day, 11 hours, 6 minutes

System returned to ROM by power cycle (SP by power on)

System restarted at 04:01:57 cdt Sun May 31 2009

System image file is "sup-bootdisk:s3223-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF11.bin"

Ran into bug CSCso08858 where probes went down for about 20 minutes.

CSM: HTTP probe flapped after running long time

Symptom:

HTTP probe goes down suddenly and then about 18 minutes later goes up again.

When http probe goes down, session slot slot# processor 0 command maybe failed.

It seems that CSM cannot generate packets. This means ping module csm slot# reals maybe failed.

Conditions:

This symptom maybe observed when CSM works long time more than 2 years.

Workaround:

Reboot the CSM before the module runs 828 days.

Question I have is per the following:

I am still vulernable to hitting this bug more than once even after the 828 days?

Thanks in advance for any inside Cisco contact verified information you may have.

Hi Jim,

Current time value is in seconds, so if it is close to 71539200 seconds (828 days), you can reset the module to avoid this issue

If it is already past the 829 days - 71625600 seconds, then you should not see this behavior until the next 828 days period

However, is recommend to reload the card  because there are other issues related to the 828 days.

Hello all and Cesar,

Thank You for your reply.

What other official issues are you referring to the 828 days ?

Our Customer will not want to reload unless necessary.
