I want to use the WAAS in my network. I’m thinking in the NME-WAE-302 placed in a router. I've seen some notes on the price list for this network module that has the license WAAS-TRN-NM, but SF-WAAS-4.2-NM-K9 require a separate license, this is where I need help. I searched the site and have not found any reference to the SF-WAAS-4.2-NM-K9 and in prices lists have no value. The idea is to get what I need to perform a simple test of WAAS, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Roger,
Google tells me that SF-WAAS-4.1-NM-K9 exists in the pricelist. Technically there is no difference between a 4.1 and 4.2 or 4.3 license, so you should be good to go. However I'm from TAC so I ignore small little details like contracts .
In any case on WAAS for now there is no license file, you just have to enable the license which you bought with "license add ...".
I hope this helps, Peter

Hello Roger,
Well you need a WAAS license because you must have one if you want to run the WAAS software, otherwise you are going against the license of the device.
For a test setup I would contact your Cisco account manager or team, they can provide you not only with the right software and license, but more importantly can involve the PDI helpdesk.
The PDI helpdesk are experts at doing POC and lab demonstration of WAAS.
Potentially if you are a partner you can involve the PDI helpdesk yourself.
I would strongly suggest that you do contact them for any lab or POC.
Best regards, Peter
