I get the following error message upgrading the CE510 systemimage, the flash upgraded fine, any ideas?
install ACNS-5.1.9.5-K9.bin

I've had a similar thing twice, the first time was the file had been corrupted when I copied it via USB flash drive from my PC to FTP server.
The second was something had screwed up the flash and the box refused to update, the only work around I found was factory restore, upgrade and re-configure which works every time.
You can also use the factory restore option that preserves the IP address info, it does wipe everything else (filesystems etc) but keeps, DNS, IP & gateway. Can remember the command but if you do a factory restore ? it tells you.
Cheers

Thanks Mark,
Gave it a try:
restore factory-default preserve basic-config
This command will wipe out all of data on the disks
and all of ACNS CLI configurations except basic network
configurations for keeping the device online.
The to-be-preserved configurations are network interfaces,
default gateway, domain name, name server, hostname and
device-mode (if applicable).
If the box is in evaluation period of certain product,
the evaluation process will not be affected.
It is highly recommended that you stop all active services
before this command is run.
Are you sure you want to go ahead?[yes/no] yes

To rectify this situation, use one of the following

copy ftp install
copy cdrom install
install
Doing the upgrade then failed,
Busy redownloading the flash and software images now. Will give that a try.

I had something similar to that once, but it was on a version 4.x to 5.1 upgrade and it suggested the samething, which worked in that instance and hopefully for you.
I don't know its called ruby but from what I can gather its the process that expands the sw image into the various bits and prepares the box / filesystem a new install.
fingers crossed.

Mark,
Sorted, downloaded the image again and it installed fine.
Thanks for the help!
Till later.
