Akamai Connect - Apple iOS Prepositioning

Hi,

I keep reading in the marketing material that Akamai Connect allows for the prepositioning of Apple iOS, yet I'm not able to find any gudies on how this is actually accomplished, ie., a step-by-step guide.

Has anyone actually done this? Can you please share the required steps, including any relevant URLs?

Hi David,

Software updates (Apple IOS, Windows Update) are NOT candidates for prepositioning !

Instead they are retreived (and cached) whenever the first user retreives it and subsequent retreivals are served from the cache.
