CE-507AV without CDM

Hi,

I have a Content Engine 507-AV, but not a Content Device Manager.

Is it possible to use the CE-507AV like Web Caching alone and don't manage it from a CDM?

If you upgrade to the latest ACNS code you will be able to use the CE for caching but the AV card is useless without CDM.

Upgrading a CE-507AV-CDN to use ACNS without a CDM

is not supported. You should return the equipment to your supplier,

or purchase a CDM. As the previous response indicated, the AV

capabilities are only useful with the ECDN configuration that requires a CDM.
