Hi guys,
I my company we use Tibco RV to integrate some productive applications, we use multicast with a internal address scope 239.x.x.x in a many to many relationship to exchange this traffic. That means every host have one or more applications that will comunicate with servers with 239.x.x.x multicast address and servers will comunicate with clients in the same way. Routing protocol is PIM in SPARSE MODE. Sometimes we have network problems because hosts deamons will ask for packet retransmissions (we do not know why this is happening).
I read about Cisco AON and i want to know if this technology can be applied on this scenario and how can we benefit of it!
We have cat6500 to support AON modules...
I hope you understand my question.
Thanks for your help!

This is is due to the interface capability which does not send packet more than MTU size. Change the MTU of the interface by logging into the interface mode.

I am also in the process of implementing tibo rvd daemon on the same vlan as the client PC's and use multicast and also use the rvrd between our office ( we have catalyst 4507) and datacenter we have catalyst 6509) using tcpip instead of muticast. what i am trying to do is run rvd daemon in the same vlan as the client PC's and have one rvrd routing daemon at the office and one at the datacenter. have you implemented tibo successfully? please let me know.
Franco.
