Hi
i am looking for fair comparisions between cisco CSS 11500 series local area load balancer and other popular names such as F5-BigIP and Citrix - netscalar.
My basic requirment is to loadbalance webservers (http or https) with cookie based persistancy. I also want a) built in intelligency to identify issues with any 'nodes' [monitor services] and isolate if they are 'down'. b) different algorithm for load balancing - round robin, predictive, least connections...etc.
Thanks
regards
Rakesh

Rakesh,
The best thing I would do if I am you would be to ring your local Cisco pre-sales office or sometimes the Cisco Account managers handling your company account and look for informations such as these.
Thanks.

thanks Kumar for your reply. I have already done this.
Wanted to hear from somebody who might have done this excercise earlier and know key points to consider as user point of view.
As such, F5 are arguably on top in loadbalancing market, but am ready to make balancing between cost and features.
regards
Rakesh

May be you are correct Rakesh, but certainly this is not the right forum to talk about those sales topics. Just google it you would find the facts anyway. Thanks.
