Internal Load Balancing. With local Director?

I use LD 416's for internet web site load balancing. works great. I'm looking to load balance some intranet web sites and some DCOM or COM+ servers. Will LD balance COM+/DCOM? Clients are connected at 10/100 and servers are at 1000. Wont the LD be a bottleneck in this scenario? I looked at Accelerated Server Load Balancing since we have a 6500 series but we have a SUP2/MSFC2/PFC2 and it says that it only works with SUP1/MSFC1/PFC1. What are my options ?

I don't konw what COM+ or DCOM servers are, but

if it's TCP/IP traffic, there should be no problem.

The LD's will be bottle-necks only if the throughput does

exceed 400 meg/sec. The LD's can have GigabitEthernet

cards.

Have you considered IOS-SLB which runs on the 6500's

running Native IOS?
