Hi,

Can you also make sure that the 294 can reach the CM through TCP port 443?

To verify, you can telnet from the WAE:

> telnet <CM-IP> 443

Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for the reply, yes it is accessible over 443 to the CM as below

AME-US-HSC-WA01#telnet 10.75.36.4 443
Trying 10.75.36.4...
Connected to 10.75.36.4.
Escape character is '^]'.

Hi,

If that is the case, can you take a sniffer of the traffic exchanged between the accelerator and the CM when you try to register.

To do so, open two sessions to the 294.

On the first one start a capture:

> tethereal -s 1600 -w Register.pcap -f "host 10.75.36.4"

On the second one, try to register with the CMS enable.

Once the process has finished, stop the capture (CTRL+C) and retrieve the file from the WAE hard drive.

Regards,

Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

The issue got resolved, the below is the resolution

You can telnet from the WAVE to the CM, connectivity is not an issue.

I did find that telnet from the DC and doing a show statistics connection yielded only partial results and a frozen session.

Telnet from the local router and command yielded normal response.

I suspected a MTU issue if the WAVE is not listening to the TCP adjust on the LAN interface. WAVE 294 has a separate interface for management that sits on the LAN.

Adjusted MTU on that interface to that of the Tunnel ( 1400 ) and issue resolved
