Port Channel between switches

I have a requirement of configuring port channel between 2 switches (stack of 2 on different floors) using 2 SFP/SFP+ ports. I need to confirm if I shall use 2 Fiber cable with 2-6 strands or 1 12 strand cable will work to achieve the requirement to have redundancy?

what is the distance of the between these 2 switches ? you can use multimode cable if it less than 200 meters.

if you make them as port-channel the fibre is different route yes, you have covered the redundency part.

If you laying the cables in path between floors, then you do not have diverce route. if the cable cut happends you will have downtime between floors.
