rserver with ace as GW can't be pinged from a diffrent subnet.

Hi.

I've got an rserver with the alias of the ace as GW. From that rserver can i ping to other ip's in diffrent subnet. But the other way i get no answear. 

So rserver(10.10.10.50) with ace as a GW(10.10.10.13) can i ping 10.10.11.20, but from 10.10.11.20 to 10.10.10.50 i cant ping.. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi,

Have you allowed ICMP type ACL on ACE? You should be able to ping the rserver if proper routing is in place and ICMP allowed.

Admin(config)# access-list icmp extended permit icmp any any

Associate this ACL to proper interfaces and it should work fine.
