Hi,

I am looking for an info that doesn't seem to be available in the document

We would like to provide an access to a context exclu for monitoring reason but first of all

Is it possible to logon to a context without passing to the Admin context??? Bcz for the moment the logon goes through the Admin context and then command changeto context etc..

Thanks for your help

Hello Karim,

yes it is possible, just apply to an interface on that context a management policy allowing the management traffic and define on you context the local users, then you will be allowed to connect directly to that interface's ip for management purposes. For details about the management policy you can have a look here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA3_1_0/configuration/admin/guide/access.html

and for tweaking the access levels of a user here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/ace_appliances/vA4_1_0/configuration/virtualization/guide/config.html

it is also explained how to tweak the access level of a certain user.

Hope it helps,

Francesco
