Hi Guys,
Have an odd issue as explained below:
I have a URL rewrite policy as configured below:
!
policy url-rewrite SAKAISTGREWRITE
url sakai-stg.its.monash.edu.au*
!
Now...this policy isn't attached to a service at all:
drc1-ssl#sh ssl-proxy policy url-rewrite
No context name provided, assuming context 'Default'...
URL Rewrite Policy Name Usage-Count
<snip>
SAKAISTGREWRITE 0
<snip>
But the crazy thing is if i try and deleted it...i get this error message:
drc1-ssl(config)#ssl-proxy context Default
drc1-ssl(config-context)#no policy url-rewrite SAKAISTGREWRITE
Deletion failed:url-rewrite-policy SAKAISTGREWRITE has active references.
Any explanation for this behavior?
SSL version: 3.1(5)
thanks
Sheldon

Hi Sheldon,
This looks very similar to CSCei36094, but this bug was fixed long ago so it should not apply on version 3.1.5
As you probably know, the SSL module has reached the "end of software maintenance release" date (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/modules/ps2706/eol_c51_534811.html), so, new software bugs are no longer being fixed
With this in mind, I would just recommend you to save the configuration and reboot the module. This will most likely clear the situation and allow you to delete the policy.
Regards
Daniel
