Strange console messages on ACE4710 before falling over

We had a hardware problem with one of our ACE 4710s,Blue light turned to flashing yellow. The console messages before it fell over were meaningless (see below)

because it meantioned power our maintainer(not Cisco) replaced the Power supply, eventually the complete box was replaced.

But it would be more helpful if useful console messages were displayed.

Anybody got any comments

Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 2d on CPU 0.

Dazed and confused, but trying to continue

Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled?

Hi,

Quick search shows that devices were replaced whenever that message appeared indicating hardware failure and in one case where failure analysis was done, it turned out to be a corrupt OS in compact flash.

Kanwal

Hi,

Most of the times is a hardware issue.  Open a TAC case to take a look.
