Carlos Villagran has is a Customer Support Engineer at the LAN Switching team of Cisco’s global TAC. He has over 5 years or experience in IT, he specializes in Switching protocols such as Spanning-Tree, VTP, L2 forwarding, IGMP; L3 technologies like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, DMVPN, HSRP, QoS and PIM, all of them in IOS and IOS-XE software. Carlos has worked with different vendors and ISPs, for instance as an IP Core engineer in Ericsson and as a customer support engineer in TELMEX. He holds a CCNP R&S certification.
Gilberto Cardenas has been a Customer Support Engineer for the TAC Switching team at Cisco Systems since September 2014. He has over eight years of expertise in networking. His expertise in switching covers technologies and products such 2K, 3K, 4K and 6K family switches. Gil holds a CCNP Routing and Switching. He holds a bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Electronics Engineering from UANL at Monterrey, Mexico.
