SPA2102: Skype SIP and DID

Hello,

I am new to both this forum and managing our phone system.  I have run into a bit of trouble getting our recently purchased SPA2102 to fully function with our Skype Connect SIP account:

Our setup: Cable modem -> Cisco/Linksys router (E1200) -> SPA2102 (firmware v.5.2.13(004)) -> cordless phone

The issue: outbound calls work flawlessly, but inbound calls never ring the phone connected to the SPA2102 (from the caller's perspective, the call is disconnected after two rings/~10 seconds).

I spent a bit of time with Skype support personnel yesterday and identified the issue, but have been unable to figure out a way to resolve it on this device.  The issue seems to lie in the transfer of the call from the Skype "online" number/user ID (99051xxxxxxxxx) to the local phone number associated with the account (+1 (315) xxx-xxxx).  They were able to successfully call the phone using the online number/user ID, but not the local number.  Skype support mentioned that this is a DID issue and my understanding is as follows: the connection is initiated via Skype using the 99051... number, but the phone will not ring unless the SPA2102 transfers this to the local landline phone number.  I located some resources explaining the basics of performing this operation, but none were for the SPA2102 and it appears to me that the device may not have the required functionality.

So, after all that, my question is, is it possible to make this call transfer occur with the SPA2102 using some of the call forwarding settings available, or is a different device neeeded?  I'm also considering just using a different VoIP provider, but if I can make this work will continue with Skype for the moment.

Thanks for any insight.
