Hi James,
Can you explain what you mean by sharing the local directory?

Hi Adrienne
Thank you so much for your email, I have 2 CME at 2 different location and connected with SIP trunk, call between 2 offices just need to dial extension number, but user in one office cannot search another office (another CME) local directory, if I enabled external directory then the local directory will be disabled by Cisco design, so I am thinking if there is other way to share local directory between 2 CME in order to let user search both offices users’ extension number.
Appreciated if you have any idea or clue.
Thanks again for following up this for me.
Best Regards,

Hi James,
I'm not as familiar with CME as I am with CUCM. Could you try putting both CME nodes in the same cluster? This would allow them to share the same databases.
Thanks,
Adrienne

Thanks Andrienne, no, our 2 CME is in different city and it is totally separate system before, I know if I configure CME SRST the issue won’t exist but the 2 CME need to be totally re-configured, we don’t want to do that.
Anyway, I found alternative way to get both CME to synchronize the local directory, let me know if you are interested in this.
Thanks,
