I have found the python script that imports links from a csv or xml file.

However, I have not found the format that those files should be in.  Can someone point me the right direction?

Also, is there an example of adding/deleting a link with using a file as input?

In the last sentence I meant without using a file as input.

You can run the sample app using the 'output' mode (-m O) which will dump the existing links to a file in the desired XML or CSV format - you can use these as an example/template.
