BACD must play full before choices work due to upgrade16.09 to 17.03

Dear all,

due to a vulnerability on 16.09, we upgraded 4300 to 17.03. After the upgrade, the BACD works, but the caller has to listen the whole message before he presses the digit of his choice. For instance, when the message says "press 0 for the help desk", when we had the 16.09, as soon as the caller was pressing 0, it was working. Now, he has to wait the whole message to be played, and then he has to dial the digit. Otherwise, it is not understood by the BACD.

We opened a TAC case, but they told us it is not their problem, it is a TCL issue.

Can anyone help us?

Hello @cstamataras,

 

If you can't find anyone with a similar issue here, I would check the Cisco Bug Search Tool (I had to use Firefox to get to it, as it wasn't reaching the site on Chrome). They mention workarounds and fixes for all kinds of issues there.
