UDS GET Users No Response was Received

Hello,

I'm trying to play around  with the UDS API, but I'm always getting "No Response Was Received. Either the request could not be opened or the request timed out."

I'm using a users web service:

https://cucm1.dcloud.cisco.com:8443/cucm-uds/users?first=Bram

I've run this into our CUCM lab, production, Cisco dCloud, always with the same No Response Was Received.

All these CUCMs are running 10.5 or higher.

Is there any special service that needs to be activated?

I'm using FF Poster to send the requests.

Thanks,

Rui

If you have an SSL certificate on the CUCM node that your browser doesn't trust yet, you will need to add an exception for the SSL certificate before attempting to connect via Poster (Poster doesn't present you with the UI flow that allows you to do this, so the SSL connection is aborted).

The easy way to do that is to just go to https://YOUR_CUCM:8443 and then go through the UI flow in Firefox to add an exception for the SSL certificate. After that it should work.
