Catalyst 3650 mgmt interface random down/down,and reover to up/up after serveral seconds...

Hi everyone, we are facing a issue about Catalyst 3650 management interface,somtimes,we can find the gi0/0 status of 3650 is down/down,and it will reovery auto after serveral seconds. Just like this: .May 10 18:11:12.770 Beijing: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface GigabitEthernet0/0, changed state to down .May 10 18:11:13.770 Beijing: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet0/0, changed state to down .May 10 18:11:22.859 Beijing: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface GigabitEthernet0/0, changed state to up .May 10 18:11:23.859 Beijing: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet0/0, changed state to up I know there are some bugs about 3650/3850 mgmt,such as CSCvh70580 & CSCvd76906.But i am not so clearly of these bug whether have some relation of this issue. Until we see your show version and confirm is this related to bug or not.

1. have you checked the Physical Cable ? is this ok ?

2. what you see other side where this Management port connected, do you see any logs ?

3. do you have any errdisable recovery configured.

4. when the port go down, can you check is this down due to any errordisabled ?

The device software is Version 03.07.05.E.
1\i have check the physical cable,this issue happen on serveral Cat3650,not only one.
2\other side where this mgmt port connected,i need check it to see if have some logs.
3\there is not errdisable recovery configured.
4\no,it's just change to down/down,and recover to up/up after a few seconds

i have check these bug for this issue,but i find the Symptoms are not consistent

if you are sure and the bug hitting your environment, to clarify, if possible in the manintenance window upgrade to recomended port.

as suggested to solution quickly change to different port and see if the link stable before you upgrade to IOS.

1332676 unknown protocol drops  <-- other than this i do not see any issues.  ( how is this interface configured as L2 ? L3 Interface ?) this may be due to DTP issue drops

it also good to restart the switch and observe, since the Switch running more than 2 years.

As suggeted change to different port and check.

it's a mgmt interface of Cat3650,you can see it's Gi0/0,which is a out-band interface.As your meaning, is change it to in-band management?The device work normally this time,it just up and down randomly on some cat3560.

mgmt interface should be a L3 port,right?
and this mgmt int connect a C2960x.
