Until we see your show version and confirm is this related to bug or not.
1. have you checked the Physical Cable ? is this ok ?
2. what you see other side where this Management port connected, do you see any logs ?
3. do you have any errdisable recovery configured.
4. when the port go down, can you check is this down due to any errordisabled ?

if you are sure and the bug hitting your environment, to clarify, if possible in the manintenance window upgrade to recomended port.
as suggested to solution quickly change to different port and see if the link stable before you upgrade to IOS.

1332676 unknown protocol drops <-- other than this i do not see any issues. ( how is this interface configured as L2 ? L3 Interface ?) this may be due to DTP issue drops
it also good to restart the switch and observe, since the Switch running more than 2 years.
As suggeted change to different port and check.
