CSCvs77557 - Cisco 3802 AP is not able to acknowledge EAP frames

I am using 5520 WLC and 3802 model  APs  with software version 8.5.151.0 users facing issue on certificate based SSID due to Bug CsCvp72309 , I planned to move on version 8.10.162 and 8.10.151.0 but unfortunately these versions having impacting Bug to our environment Cisco Aironet 3802 AP is not able to acknowledge EAP frames (EAP-TLS)

Please suggest what solution I can provide to customer .

Contact TAC, they may have a short term solution, the bug was opened more than a month now.
