CSCwm57734 - Dot1x auth fail vlan can't assign IP with dhcp

Hi,
I'm a little bit confused after reading this bug description. I can see version 17.12.5 in both lists "Known Affected Releases" and "Known Fixed Releases". 
Is 17.12.5 affected now by the bug, so will there DHCP and other problem using it with 802.1x closed auth, or has this bug fixed in it, so can we upgrade to it without hitting this bug?
Could someone help, please, to understand how could be both true at the same time? Or is there something else behind it?
