Building DNAC server - Need help with answers to questions

I have a need to build a DNAC server for my lab.

I have a UCS-C220-M5 that I use for my primary lab R&S, SD-WAN, but I need a DNAC server and my job won't be adding a cluster until the last quarter 2023. So my hands-on is severely limited to just Cisco practice labs for DNAC SD-Access.

Questions:

Does the requirement of 44cores reference actual CPU cores or vCPU's?

What is the minimum CPU core\vCPU that can run DNAC?

Does it matter if the UCS C-Series platform is a 10-SFF or 4-LFF?

Is the DNAC virtual available now or is it still in development?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, it is.

While not supported by Cisco, it is possible to install Cisco DNA Center virtually in ESXi. This is perfect for CCIE lab studies or even proof of concept in a work environment. By installing DNAC onto existing or used server gear, you can save a ton of money versus buying an official appliance ...
