C9300-48P Switches not connecting to DNAC with PnP

So we're trying to use DNA Center to deploy Cisco 9300's to replace our inventory and everything works great, when it works. As of right now I'm running into issues where most of the switches aren't doing a PnP discovery (as of right now I've successfully deployed 8 switches through PnP and templating, and have 18 that won't check into DNAC.

I've included some config examples:

DHCP Setup on local layer 3 switch, using option 43 to point to DNAC:

ip dhcp pool dnac-pnp
network 10.255.0.0 255.255.255.240
default-router 10.255.0.1
option 43 ascii "5A1N;B2;K4;I172.24.1.100;J80"

New switches are connecting directly to layer 3 switch running DHCP:

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/30
description DNAC-DHCP-DEPLOYMENT
switchport trunk native vlan 600
switchport mode trunk

Using VLAN 600 for the DHCP communication:

interface Vlan600
ip address 10.255.0.1 255.255.255.248

pnp startup-vlan 600

I've tried:

write erase, deleting startupconfig and reload

system ignore startupconfig switch all

doing a "pnpa service reset"

I've also cleared DHCP pool and ARP on the layer 3 switch between hooking up sets of switches  just to make sure there aren't any IP/ARP conflicts. When console into one of the switches that gets an IP address but doesn't report to DNAC, the port configuration matches the layer 3 port config; VLAN600 assigned, trunk port, native VLAN 600.

Something just doesn't seem right that about 2/3rd of the switches I've connected will get a DHCP IP address but not attempt a PnP boot. I have a Cisco TAC opened already for this, but I want to check here if anyone has seen this behavior before or have any ideas to fix this odd behavior.

Hi @Scottishcarrot , did you find solution for this? we are facing similar issues with similar setup

This might have fixed in the new release, what version of DNAC you running.
