Catalyst Center and ThousandEyes

I was able to integrate Catalyst Center and ThousandEyes. However, I am not seeing the Enterprise Agent Tests or any data when I go to Assurance -> Health -> Applications. We currently have a few switches in the environment that run ThousandEyes agents. I want to set it up so that I can manage the agents and data from Catalyst Center.

On one of the switches running the ThousandEyes agent, I have enabled https server (on the switch) and also added the switch to the proper location in Catalyst Center (it is in "managed" state in Catalyst Center Provision -> Inventory).

What can I do to get Catalyst Center show the information provided by ThousandEyes agent? Is it possible to get the the agent responding to Catalyst Center and have Catalyst Center manage everything without deleting the agent or would I need to uninstall the agent from the device and reinstall it from Catalyst Center?

What version of Catalyst Center?  What model switch? I think the most common issue is that the hostname of the switch in inventory doesn't match exactly the hostname used when installing the agent (maybe one is FQDN and the other is not).

Once the integration is successful, you will get visibility in Catalyst Center to Thousand Eyes test. The tests will still need to be managed from Thousand Eyes dashboard: https://blogs.cisco.com/networking/better-together-cisco-dna-center-and-thousandeyes

I am running 2.3.7.7 on Catalyst Center and 17.9.4a on the switches. I am using FQDN on Catalyst Center as well as the switch installed. I will check the status of that and see what is going on.

Is it possible to manage the tests from Catalyst Center or is it not supported yet? Would we be able to just use Catalyst Center for what ThousandEyes provides or would we still need to login to ThousandEyes and manage it's agents from there? We will have quite a few different people using Catalyst Center for one thing or another, and maybe giving them some access to ThousandEyes part in Catalyst Center might help them in their roles without giving them actual access to ThousandEyes.

You cannot manage the test from Catalyst Center at this time. You will only see the data for those tests. To create and manage the tests you will need to log into ThousandEyes at this time. Below is a screenshot from my 2.3.7.9 lab deployment. The top test actually shows test data. The bottom two need some fixes I believe.

You can deploy the agents from CatC to your switches as this time.

As @Preston Chilcote mentioned below make sure the hostname in ThousandEyes matches the name in CatC extacly. This includes the FQDN.

I will also say I have a TAC case open on my lab because the data for ThousandEyes in the dashboard you mentioned, comes and goes without a lot of reason. It will go weeks without working and then suddenly start showing again. The developers are involved and trying to figure out why this is happening. I'm running the lastest 2.3.7.7 with the SMU now. I'm running a Cat9300 and just upgraded it to 17.9.6a. The TE again is version 5.0.1. It didn't show data for several days and then suddenly started working. I cannot figure out what triggers it to start or stop working at this point.
